CASE'ing myself

Ever have a card you just love so you just have to re-create it? Well, I loved this card and just had to make another one similar. Different angel, different paper, same layout.

Angel is from TAC's Just Dream. I just love these angels!! Paper is also TAC, Genevieve. I just got this paper and oh my, I just love the rich colors in it.

I stamped the angel and then masked her feet and used my A Muse Essential Ovals for her to stand on. Then I colored her with copics, prismacolors, OMS and added stickles to her wings.

I used my sizzlit die for the photo corners. Inside is a sentiment from the Just Dream set. On the envelope I stamped the same angel from the Limited Edition set, Just Dreamy.

This was made for a special online friend who celebrated a birthday and I didn't get the card made in time so it's late. Hopefully she'll like this enough to forgive it's tardiness!

Flutter By Wednesday #30

I started this card for this weeks Template Tuesday but as usual, my card didn't want to follow the sketch. LOL!
I used Monica Flutter-by as I just had to use her one more time before Halloween. I colored her with copics, prismacolors and OMS. Then I added stickles to her wings.

The paper was in my scrap pile but I think it came from a pocket full of posies stack. I used my sizzlit die for the photo corners.

Remember to leave a comment and a link if you create a Flutter By card, I'd love to see it!!

Just Dream

I made this card for the other spotlighted diva in a yahoo group. She loves the color red and likes things a bit more retro, and although this isn't retro, it's sort of funky so I hope she likes it.
The paper is Basic Grey's Eupohira. I just love that line of paper. The stamp is from TAC's Just Dream set. I have the full sized set and the Limited Edition smaller size....just love them both.
I colored her with prismacolors, odorless mineral spirits and copics. I also add stardust pen to her necklace and the thingy in her hair. Added crystal stickles to her wings.
To finish the card I cut some photo corners out with my sizzlit die. I really liked this card...hard to send it away. LOL! At least I know it went to someone who will really appreciate it.

Arctic Freeze

This is one of my new House Mouse stamps, Arctic Freeze. I didn't realize how large the image was but I still just love this (and all the other House Mouse images, hehehe). I colored it with prismacolor pencils. It's not as bold as I'd like it but I can keep practicing. I also added a photo corner from American Crafts to it--I just got these for a bday gift and they are fun!
Hopefully I can come up with another layout for cards with images this big as I wasn't totally thrilled with this one.

Sketch cards from last night

This card was for my Friday sketch on a TAC group I'm on. It was fun to do something a tad different....the bottom inch is cut off--where the buttons are. The image is TAC's retired Best Friends Bears. They were the first TAC stamps I bought. Haven't used them in a while but they are still so cute. I colored them with prismacolors and gamsol. The sentiment is also from TAC. I used a photo corner from my sizzlit die. Hard to see but I also used shimmer chalk on the background of the bears.
Another yahoo group I'm in has a sketch each month. I wasn't too sure of this one but like the end result. The paper is TAC's Catelynne collection. I also used TAC's retired Clothesline Bears and Dot sampler for the stamped images. The hearts are a heart punch. I colored them with prismacolors and also used stardust pens on the hearts on the overalls and also CM's bronze pen for their buttons.

What's moo and Herd it's your birthday

I think I must have been in a "cow" mood last night. Both cards that I created had a cow on them. The first one I used TAC's An 'udder Birthday set. I also used TAC's Cha-Cha paper and ribbon. Colored the cow with prismacolors and gamsol and then added fun flock to the spots and glaze pens to the sunglasses and drink. Also used my nestablities for the circles and CM pen for the doodles on the scalloped circle.
I've had this set, Punny Farm, for a while from MFT but for some reason, I've been intimidated by it. I finally made myself use it last night......what fun! I stamped the cow and lady first. Then found a grass stamp I had in a TAC grab bag. The rest is just coloring with prismacolors and gamsol. I added the ribbon and photo corner. I used a souflee pen on the photo corner and originally had a little rhinestone in the middle of the punched flower but it didn't work for me so I took it off and added a little button--much better! I almost forgot, I inked the edges of the image with distress ink.
