RAK thank you
I just wanted to give a big thank you to Kris for the fun box of goodies that arrived today! The kids were so excited to see things for them too and I was thrilled to see thimbles for my collection and fun homemade CUTE stuff! Thank you so much!

JLO (JessicaLynn Original Stamps) Inspiration Challenge #1
Melissa, our team leader for the JessicaLynn Design Team, issued a challenge for the weekend. You can read about it here~~ but basically the inspiration is the Kentucky Derby and all it entails.
I took my inspiration from all the pretty, flowery big hats. I thought Ruby as a Daisy would be perfect. Isn't she the cutest?
I'm happy to report that there were no injuries to her or myself as I cut out her daisy and popped it up to give her some dimension. I might actually be getting better at being able to use sharp objects. LOL!

A special RAK
Look at that smile!! The crafting community is always surprising me with kindness. I just recently found Sharon's blog as she joined some yahoo groups I'm in. Well, when she posted this amazing Hello Kitty card, I left a comment saying how cute it was and that my daughter would love it. Do you see what she did!!She sent it to Belle!!

Happy mail.....
I received these beautiful cards in the mail the last few days, had to share. The first one is from a friend on a yahoo group. Each month we exchange one card with other members--this month the theme was Valentines. Isn't it just gorgeous?
The second card is from my bella sistah, Jacqueline. I just adore this card, so sweet!

She said when she saw my signature in my email--- Housework won't kill you, but why take the chance?---that she knew this card was for me!! Another wonderful card from a friend
My friend, Shirley, is the main reason I started going to the church that I do. She is just such a sweet lady and so friendly......reminds me so much of my great-grandmother who was so special to me. Shirley is also one of my "regulars" at my classes. She said I've made a monster out of her in regards to stamping and card making. Hehehe.
Anyway, yesterday at my class she brought me this beautiful card. The butterflies are fabric!! I'm not sure how she did it but it's just so pretty, I love it!
