ATC's....

A while back I was making ATC's, or also known as Artist Trading Cards to send with my RAK's-random acts of kindness. Then for some reason I stopped.

I decided that the ATC's would be a perfect project for me to work on while I'm in the midst of the moving process as they are small and easier to complete and then I'd have some done for when we get settled.

Here's a few that I started with~

The little details~ digi-Cupcake Anya, copics, scraps of paper and cardstock, Kaisercraft rhinestones, Crystal petal flowers,

The next one I followed a tutorial by Jody on how to make the window in Make The Cut. I seriously love that program! I think I was thinking wrong as far as what should be light or dark but I remedied the problem by just using the negatives from the cutouts for my window. Yay for mistakes! LOL!

First Snowball of Winter

Since it's finally starting to feel like winter here in the desert, I thought it would be fun to ink up the Elisabeth Bell for SCACD image, First Snowball of Winter.

I stamped this cutie twice, cut one out and put on top of the other one for image. I also sponged the bottom image while in the nestabilities die. I used some small pieces of fibers for the ends of her scarf. On her mittens and pom-pom I used sparkly fluff.

Happy New Year's Eve!!

The end of 2010! Can you believe it? Another year gone? Wow!!

However you are celebrating tonight, I hope you stay safe! We'll be ringing in the new year at home with the kiddos. Matthew loves staying up to see the new year in and I'm sure Belle will follow in his footsteps!

I thought the the set by The Greeting Farm, Journey with Oliver and Amelia would make a fun New Year's card as we all embark on a new journey into the year!!

I stamped Amelia twice and then cut one out to put on the other one for dimension. I think she was in a very colorful mood...hehe!

I found an older sketch on the Club Anya blog that inspired me for the layout--it's in THIS post.

Happy Christmas Eve!

One more day and the big day is here! Are you ready? I am, whew!

This image is from Mo Manning, Pammy's Stocking. I must admit, I was very intimidated to color this image--once I got started though it all came together nicely and I really like the final result.

For the card design I used a sketch from Create 4 Fun-Challenge 51~

Spec-TAC-ular Thursday- Havin' a ball

Only 2 more days! Are you ready? I can't wait! I love seeing my kids open their gifts!! and to take time to remember the true meaning of Christmas too!

For this week's Spec-TAC-ular Thursday I decided to use the super cute set, Havin' A Ball. Fun little mice--a phrase I never thought I'd say about mice! LOL!

I used my cricut and Make The Cut software to make this cute tag.

Also, did you know that TAC has free downloads?? Yup, they do! Check them out HERE!! I printed out the paper dolls for Belle and she loved them!

I got your back!

This image, I got your back , from the last release by Victoria Case for SCACD is just the cutest! I love the little penguin! Now wouldn't that be a fun story to tell about sledding with your lil' penguin friend?

I thought it would be fun to use the Hanging Holiday Sled from My Time Made Easy to put this cutie on. I used my Make The Cut software and cricut to create the sled.

I used my nesties to cut out this fun image and then I added some sparkly fluff to her earmuff and some Polar White Flower Soft for snow. I also added touches of sparkle with my copic glitter pens.

I finished off my sled with some pretty poinsettias from Petaloo. I love how this turned out. I think it'll be a decoration this year in my house!

Spunky Sprite Girls

I hope you are all off to a fabulous start on this Monday!

Today I wanted to bring to attention a new tab at the top of the page~ TAC FUN stuff. On this page I will keep it updated as to what the specials are at TAC and also what stamp sets Michelle and I will be featuring on Spec-TAC-ular Thursday's and also, I am going to be doing a featured project each month and this will be there too.

Feel free to email me anytime if you have questions about anything!!

Onto today's creation~ I have purchased several My Time Made Easy projects and cut files so I wanted to play with them and get familiar with how they work with the Make The Cut software and the Cricut so I started with the "free" one I had gotten, the Cutesy Cover.

It was super easy to create! Reminds me of a little crayon box, but it would be fun to fill with other goodies too! I used some older papers in my stash to decorate it and used Spunky Sprite Girls for the image. I stamped the little cutie twice, cut one out and placed on top of the other one for dimension.

Once I had it done, I decided to make a little card to go with it. I used a sketch I had saved, SC204 for inspiration for my layout. The flowers and buttons are from the Lemonade Blossoms and Buttons collection.

The little details~ Memento Tuxedo Black ink, copics, Spunky Sprite Girls, MTME template/svg file, Cricut, misc cardstock and designer papers, nestabilites, markers, border punch, Lemonade Blossoms & Buttons, yellow scrappers floss,

I couldn't pass up making one more Halloween card with this cute new image, Cat O' Lantern. How adorable!!

I played around with my Make The Cut software some and was excited to figure out how to create a card with the weld feature. I'm loving this software!

It's not perfect but a good learning card and my little Belle will love it on Halloween..if she doesn't spy it before then!
