That was then, this is now #1

I recently posted the first card I ever made--Here's the post in case you missed it --- and that got me thinking how fun it would be to post a card I made a while ago and one I made today with the same stamp set, so I hope to have lots of these "That was then, This is now" posts--just for fun!
So I figured I needed to start this off with that "wonderful" first card.

That was then.......
and this is now......

So what do you think? Should I go back to the way I made the first one? hehehe!

Flutter By Wednesday #31

Ever want a stamp set and then have it get retired before you can get it?Well, I have a long list of those but luckily this last week an online friend was selling some of her stamps and imagine my delight when there were several of my "wish list" stamp sets there!! This is one of them, TAC's Everything Nice.

I colored this sweet girl with prismacolors and OMS. Then I went lightly over the outer edges of the image with shimmer chalk. I used a SCS sketch, SC199--love this sketch. The paper is from Imaginisce and the little buttons I've had for a long time.

I know the butterfly isn't the main image on this but it's there so it qualifies for Flutter By Wednesday. Happy

Please remember to share any Flutter By creations you make, I'd love to see them!!

Sunflower Princess

Another stamp that I think is so cute. It's a retired TAC stamp, Sunflower Princess. I colored her with prismacolors, OMS and copics. I added a touch of stardust pen to the bees. The sketch is from the bella forum on SCS, sketch BSC17. I really like the bella sketches as so many of my images that I use are rectangles and the bella sketches fit them so well.
The paper is actually some Easter/Spring paper I bought. I believe it's Imaginisce.
After I got everything adhered I felt it was missing something but couldn't decide what so I left it. What would YOU have added??

I used my stardust pens on the popsicle, flower and skirt.
