Inky Paws Challenge #203- More Inspiration

I'm back today with more inspiration for the current Inky Paws Challenge that goes through August 4, 2023 at midnight CST! For today's card I thought it would be fun to use the Floral Fringe stamp set and color the flowers with the challenge colors. 

After I colored up the image I die cut it out with the Frames Squared dies! I created my layers with the Frames Squared dies also.

I finished off the card by stamping the sentiment, cutting it out with the Frames Squared dies and then added some stickles to add some sparkle.

Today I am in a fun collab with Fresh and Renewed with Teresa over on YouTube! Check out my video HERE!!

Teresa has been doing a bee series on her channel and the theme in my Swap/RAK group for August is going to be bees so we just thought we'd have fun and share some bee themed projects!

I have been having so much fun with the way I'm creating for the Create it Three Way hops so I decided to do that- one stamp set, one paper pad and one sketch for 3 cards.

I decided to use the Freshly Made Sketches Sketch #547.

I chose the Not 2 Shabby Honey Bee Kisses stamp set and the Not 2 Shabby Sunflower Bees 6x6 paper pad.

Inky Paws Challenge #203- Color Challenge

I thought it would be fun to use the Bokeh Stencil Set to create my background. I did the first layer in the challenge colors and then the second layer I added some stickles gel. What a pretty effect!

I stamped and colored up the Beach Barks stamp set and then cut the fun dogs out with the coordinating dies. I used the Frameworks dies to create a little frame for the dogs.

I used the Circle Frames dies to cut out a circle for the sentiment that I heat embossed in white. 

I finished off the card by adhering it all down and finishing off the inside. I almost forgot but then remembered to add glossy accents to the glasses, such a fun touch! and I added some glitter dots!

Create It Three Ways Collab IG Hop-Birthday Mice

Yesterday I was in another Create It Three Ways Collab IG Hop! You are given a theme and then you create 3 cards with that theme and a product/color/die/etc. It reminds me of my Three for Tuesday series I had for awhile which I enjoyed! 

The theme for this month is Birthday! I like what I did last month creating 3 cards using the same stamp set, paper and sketch so I think that is what I will try to do each month!

I chose my sketch first and decided to continue on my journey to use the Mojo Monday Sketches in order so I'm using Mojo Monday Sketch #2 for my cards today!

For my stamp set and papers I chose to use Newton's Nook Birthday Mice Stamp Set and the Newton's Nook Birthday Party 6x6 Paper Pad!

Crafty Fun Anything But a Card YT Hop- You Are Mer-Mazing

I was super excited to create my project today! I recently got the Trinity Stamps Treat Box Die and Shaker Add-On Dies so I created a fun shaker box for my project. I watched videos on the Trinity Stamps YT Channel for putting the box together and I must say it went together easily! Can't wait to create more of these!! You can see those videos HERE and HERE! After I had already completed my box and video I did watch a video by Cassie Trask creating a shaker box and I liked the way she put it together. You can see that video HERE!

I also used the cute Trinity Stamps Mermazing stamp set for my shaker box. Can't go wrong with a mermaid!

Mojo Monday Sketch #1-Dragonfly Happy Birthday

I decided that since I really love Mojo Monday Sketches that I would try to work my way through them. There's A LOT of them so this is something that will take some time but that's okay, I'll have fun doing it!

Julee posted the first one in 2007! wow!! That's a lot of creativity and "mojo"! (See what I did there!) Here's Sketch #1~

In the Crafty Fun w/Friends of LV Handcrafted group there is a "Jitterbug June" challenge so I decided to make a card for that. I used the February 2022 Pink and Main Crafty Courtyard kit-Dragonfly Dreams. I don't think much of this kit is available but the Floral Wings stamp set has a dragonfly like this one along with a bee and butterfly!

Summer ATC Swap

A recent ATC swap had the theme of Summer. I debated about what to do with this for a bit but then decided to use the Pool Party stamp set from The Greeting Farm. I thought the girl on the unicorn floatie was just so cute and fun!!

Kraftin' Kimmie May 2023 Skrappy Challenge

Good morning krafty friends! 

It's May, and that means it's time for a brand new

SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

For my project this month I made a Mermaid Memory Dex Card for myself for MerMay!! I used an alcohol ink background and the mermaids from the Be a Mermaid Stamp Set! So pretty!!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!
