One of Sam's co-workers just had their first baby so he wanted a card for us to send to them. I don't make baby cards that often so I was excited to create one!

I used the retired stamp set, Girl Build a Onesie, from The Greeting Farm for my card. I recently used it for another friends baby cards and really liked it.

Four on Friday- No coloring

It's time for another Four on Friday with my friend, Alicia!! This has to be one of my most favorite collabs!! Every few weeks we each post four projects with the same product, technique, type of card, etc. but we don't tell each other what we're doing so it's a surprise for us too!

Today I decided to make four cards with no coloring-sentiments only. Now to some that might not seem like that big of a deal but if you've followed me for any time, you know I LOVE to color and probably 95% of my cards all have an image and coloring on them. It truly is a challenge for me to make sentiment only cards.

After I decided that this was what I was going to do I sat and stared at my craft table for quite awhile. LOL! Finally I decided to use some sketches to make the process a bit easier! Although I'm not going to lie, many times I thought about changing this idea to include colored images, LOL!

My first card uses Freshly Made Sketches #273. I thought it was a great CAS sketch to use a few strips of scraps. I paired the sketch with the Reverse Confetti stamp set, A Friend Like You.

Next I used a sketch I found from Flowerbug's Inkspot. I used SU's Stitched All Around stamp set for this sketch. 

My third card uses a sketch from Mojo Monday, Sketch #546. I used my Simon Says Stamp Greetings Mix 1 for this one. 

For my last card I just went freestyle, although I know there are sketches out there like this. I used my Pretty Pink Posh Thoughtful Greetings.

There's a Stamp For That #23- Just one more page

I'm back today with another card for my challenge, There's a Stamp For That. Challenge #23 has the themes of frogs or paper piecing or Freshly Made Sketches #458. 

For today's card I chose to do some paper piecing! I love that technique. I thought the chair/couch/beanbag in this fun stamp set, Just One More Page, from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps just begged to be paper pieced! 

If you are a book lover, how many times have you said, "One more page..."? I know I say it often!! I just gotta keep reading!!

How super fun is the Unicorn Bday Anya set from The Greeting Farm! I just adore it and finally made time to ink it up!!

I've been inspired by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps design team member, Brigitte and her use of stickles around the paper. Such a fun little touch! (even though the photos don't show it very well)

My Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen kind of overflowed a bit on her dress but I think it still turned out okay. A pretty sparkly unicorn princess for a birthday wish!!

Sweet Succulents

At work this past week we had a secret pal exchange which was tons of fun! On the last day we were to reveal ourselves to our pal so I thought it would be fun to make my pal a little set of cards for the grand reveal.

I learned she likes to garden and although this isn't exactly gardening, I thought succulents would be fun. 

My cards were inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest by one of the MFT DT. I really like how they came out for a quick set of cards!

Four on Friday- Stamp Set

My friend, Alicia and I are starting a new collaboration series called "Four on Friday". Every few Fridays, starting today!!, we will be sharing 4 different projects using the same technique, tool or type of product. Today's collab is to use a single stamp set in 4 different ways. Next month we will be sharing 4 projects using a single 6x6 paper pad. This will help us stretch our crafty muscles and use what we have. 

For my projects today I used a stamp set from The Greeting Farm called Mini-Remix Friend. 

For my first card I wanted to use all the little girls so I colored them all up and kept the same color scheme for them all. 

My second card just uses one of the little girls, I adore her bear barrette!

For my third card I wanted to show how you could use the stamp set without coloring the girls. 

My last card uses one little girl. I have so many friends that are coffee drinkers so I thought it would be fun to use the girl with the coffee cup.

Oh my goodness!! This new Pajama Goat digi is beyond the CUTEST!!! I absolutely love it!! It's new in the Some Odd Girl Shop!! RUN over there and get yours today!!!

I love that goats can pretty much be any color! I added some texture to my lil' guy buy using some copic colorless blender solution to a towel and dabbing it on the goat. I thought some polka dots had to happen on his little pajamas too.  He just makes me so happy! I can't wait to color up another one and make it more girly!!

I am working on finding my mojo! I started this card a week ago and figured it was time to just finish it. Isn't it funny how one minute you are all knee deep in creativity and then the next minute you feel like you could walk away from crafting all together?

I participated in a Valentine's Day Swap on one of the groups I'm in and was so THRILLED to receive Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid 6x6 paper pad and some fun Doodlebug Matte Sprinkles (enamel dots)! I might have squealed when I opened the package! So very fun!!

I also must say I am so proud of how I colored the kitty cat on this cute La La Land stamp, retired Marci with Cat.
