Today I decided to make four cards with no coloring-sentiments only. Now to some that might not seem like that big of a deal but if you've followed me for any time, you know I LOVE to color and probably 95% of my cards all have an image and coloring on them. It truly is a challenge for me to make sentiment only cards.
After I decided that this was what I was going to do I sat and stared at my craft table for quite awhile. LOL! Finally I decided to use some sketches to make the process a bit easier! Although I'm not going to lie, many times I thought about changing this idea to include colored images, LOL!
My first card uses Freshly Made Sketches #273. I thought it was a great CAS sketch to use a few strips of scraps. I paired the sketch with the Reverse Confetti stamp set, A Friend Like You.
Next I used a sketch I found from Flowerbug's Inkspot. I used SU's Stitched All Around stamp set for this sketch.
My third card uses a sketch from Mojo Monday, Sketch #546. I used my Simon Says Stamp Greetings Mix 1 for this one.
For my last card I just went freestyle, although I know there are sketches out there like this. I used my Pretty Pink Posh Thoughtful Greetings.
Thanks for stopping by and if you haven't been over to Alicia's video, make sure you head there now!!

Now, this is a set of cards right up my alley - patterned paper AND sentiment-only :) I love each of them - the papers you chose look so great and these would be wonderful for all the scraps I have lying around. Thanks so much for teaming up with me
Just came over here from Ali's Video, your cards are wonderful. I am the opposite of you however, most of my cards have no coloring. I am working at that though. Thank you for your inspiration today.
Great cards! Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful cards, thanks for sharing. Have a crafty day❤️
Hi Danni, these are great! My favorite is the last one. I love plaid and squares! Have a great day!
Great cards Danni x
I'm with you in that your collab with Alicia is one of my favorite collabs, too. You've both struck gold again. These are my kind of cards since I rarely have time to play around and color. I tell myself I'm letting the pretty papers take center stage.😉 I'm sure I'd color more if I took the time to improve my technique. Time is something of a rarity for me, though. Using scraps is another thing I like to do so I'm particularly inspired by your cards. I'm particularly drawn to the plaids in the last card, even though pink is not a color I choose to use very often.
Hi Danni, I like all the cards you did today but I was wondering on the second one what punch did you use on the ends of the sentiment cardstock.
