Polka Dot Pals Elvina

It's time for another fun challenge at Little Miss Muffet Stamps! No reason why you shouldn't be playing along since it's Anything Goes!!

I made a cute little tent topper card featuring the beautiful Polka Dot Pals Elvina. She is so magical and enchanting!! She has all kinds of sparkle on her but the photo doesn't show it very well.

I used super bright, fun colors to help brighten my day because it was dark, dreary and rainy on the day I created this card!

Have a super day and thanks for stopping by! Ohhhh...and I'm so excited to report that we've had our inspection on the house and the seller has agreed to fix everything with no additional costs!! Yippie!! I can't wait to have a home of our own again!!

FBW #253- finally...

Whew...finally got this card done! I just haven't felt well the past few days--nothing I can put my finger on but just blah. Hopefully it's on it's way out as I have lots of fun creations I need to get done for next week!!

Anyhoo, here's my card for this week's Flutter By Wednesday Challenge which is Open--Anything Goes with a butterfly or fairy. Be sure to visit the blog and see the fab creations my Flutter By Team created too!!

For my card I used another Sweet Pea stamp! This one is Tummy Time by Elisabeth Bell (for Sweet Pea Stamps). I had fun adding some fun freckles to her sweet face--it was my first time doing freckles, I think, so I was pleased how they turned out.

I have to say though that I was quite shocked as I didn't have many designer papers with purple in them to pair with this cutie!! I almost always color my image first and then find papers, this time I was almost stumped! LOL!!

Have a wonderful night/day and I really hope to see you back here soon!

If all else fails-add pink, sparkle and a butterfly!

Another pet sympathy

Another member at the Curves I work at lost their furbaby so another sad card to make. I used Michelle Perkett’s digi-Earth Angels set again for this one.
I printed the digi out and then colored it with my copics. Next I used my nestabilities to cut it out and I paired it with My Mind’s Eye-Indie Chic-Nutmeg papers. I decided to make the card a tent topper card using the directions on SCS-HERE (because I always forget all the little details to this card!)

To finish, I just added some stickles and the sentiment, also from the same digi set.

Hope Awareness Fairy

I've had this stamp for quite a while now and sadly it's not been inky. I thought it would be a nice stamp for October, for Breast Cancer Awareness, but I can see how it could be used for other occassions/ribbons as well.

I used this tutorial for making the tent topper card.

Oh so sweet! FBW #94

I rarely order stamps that I can't "see" the whole kit/set before I buy as I've ended up with some that I wasn't that fond of but I took a chance and ordered the SugarPlums Spring Kit 2010 from C.C. Designs (All That Scraps store). Oh my word!! I would recommend this CUTE kit to anyone who likes any of the SugarPlums C.C. Designs stamps...way, way too adorable! I must say I am VERY happy I ordered it!
This sweet lil' butterfly was in the kit...isn't she just a doll?? I decided to make her a tent topper card following these directions. Only it's a tent topper side card as I was distracted when I put the topper on..LOL!

Thanks for stopping by! I appreciate it so much!

Flutter By Wednesday #84

So happy to see you on this Flutter By Wednesday!! Thank you for stopping by!

First I wanted to say thank you to all who sent in emails applying for the Flutter By Team openings. I wish that I could add you all as you all are so talented!!
With that being said, please welcome the newest members of the Flutter By Team (I know I said I was going to add 2, but I just had to add 1 more!):
Kris, Karen and Pam!!
Please be sure to stop by and welcome them to the team and enjoy their creations! Don't forget the rest of the team too...their links are on my sidebar and I know they have wonderful creations for you this week!

Our challenge this week is an open one so anything goes as long as it has a butterfly, fairy or angel on it.

Leave a direct link to your creation in Mister Linky, (I reserve the right to remove any links not appropriate or linked to blogs vs. entries.) If you upload to SCS or PCP, please use the keyword, FBW. Can't wait to see what YOU create!!

Here's my card for this week~

I also wanted to give a shout out...notice my new watermark on my card? I just purchased some from Karen Giron, only $2 each and super fast and she's so nice!!!

What I did:
I stamped Holly Fairy onto my cardstock in Memento ink and colored her in with copics.
I haven't done a tent topper card in a while so I thought it would be fun to do one. They are sooo easy!! I cut my image out with my oval nesties and then got the card ready to be assembled.
Before adhering everything down I added sugar sparkly fluff to the trim on Holly's cape and boots.
I adhered everything, added stickles to Holly's wings, a few copic glitter pen accents and then finished the card by adding a few embellishments.

***Edited to add, several of you have mentioned that Mister Linky isn't showing up properly for you. It is fine on my computers so I'm not sure what to do. I will keep investigating it but if it's a problem for you to leave a link, just put it in comment section. Thanks!!***
