Summer Fairy {hello friend}

Today I have a fairy for you! I have had this stamp, Summer Fairy by Sylvia Zet, from Whimsy Stamps for years and only used it once I think! She's so cute and sweet that I just had to color her up again. She's not available in rubber anymore but I did find her in digi form at Whimsy Stamps if you'd like to get her for yourself!

Sometimes I just get so giddy when I color up stamps and make a card! I just love the process, love seeing it come together! This was one of those cards! I didn't know what direction to go when I started this but it just came together easily and I think it turned out so cute!

The cutie pie is from Whimsy Stamps, the Wee Stamps Collection and this is Dolly. The sentiment is also from a Whimsy set called Frame of Thanks. The die, Mini Picture Frame Die, is also from Whimsy.

Cuddly Ride

Happy New Year! It's not quite here yet but close enough! I hope everyone has a fabulous 2015! I've been doing lots of reflecting and thinking about 2014 and am looking forward to 2015!

The part I'm most excited about is that my family and I have decided that it's going to be a year of giving back. We are going to donate money, time, goods to different organizations/charities through out the year. Focus on others vs. ourselves. It's something we've done on a small scale before but this year I'm excited to do it on a larger scale and also to do it with the entire family.

Onto my card for today! I used another adorable stamp from Whimsy Stamps called Cuddly Ride. I have to admit I think it would be fun to be a wee little one and ride on a cute snail like this one!!

I must admit it's very odd to be ringing it in all by myself since Sam and the kids and even Freckles are visiting Sam's mom but I'm glad they had a chance to go. I couldn't go because I have to work. It's very weird being here all by myself but I'm trying to make the most of it!! 

Love You Slow Much

I just can't believe that tomorrow is the last day of 2014!! Where did the year go? Crazy!!

Tonight I have another card using a cute stamp from Whimsy Stamps called Love You Slow Much. I also used my favorite sentiment set from Whimsy Stamps, Everyday Moments.

Sweet Blossom

Goodness! The last few weeks sure just haven't been in my favor for crafting! First being sick and then getting everything ready for Christmas and then enjoying Christmas and then a nice visit from Sam's Dad and Stepmom...whew!! It was all wonderful, except the being sick, but I must say today was wonderful to sit and craft!!

My card tonight uses the cute stamp, Sweet Blossom, from Whimsy Stamps. I felt a little rusty on coloring and putting it together but it's a start!! The sentiment is from the Everyday Moments stamp set also by Whimsy Stamps.

Sam, the kids and even Freckles are leaving town on Wednesday to go visit his mom and I'm going to be home all alone!! for 2 days!! eeek!! I don't know when that has ever happened! I plan on crafting my heart out when I'm not working!

Silver Fairy

A quick post tonight as my Mom is visiting and I need to get to bed and get some sleep so I'm ready for our day tomorrow at the County Fair to see one of Annabelle's paintings on display for the entire school district!!

I did get the job at the zoo--not sure I updated about that. I am starting on Tuesday and will work as a cashier first and then move to other areas. I'm beyond excited!!

Anyhoo, onto tonight's card featuring a stamp from Wee Stamps for Whimsy Stamps called Silver Fairy. I'm not going to lie, this stamp has been on my wishlist for so long--I was so excited to finally get it!!

Summer Fairy

I was in the mood to color up a fairy so I decided on this sweet Summer Fairy from Whimsy Stamps from the Wee Stamps collection. She just looks so pretty but also looks like she has a little bit of spunk to her!

As I was coloring her I thought I'd do one of my fav techniques--paper piecing--so I paper pieced her little dress. And I must say, I'm very happy with how her wings turned out!!

Spring Bringer

I've had this sweet digi, Spring Bringer from Wee Stamps for a while and finally decided it was time to get her colored up and onto a card!

I feel like I'm cheating on this card...hehe..using an image I colored awhile ago. This sweetie is Wee Suzi from Wee Stamps.  I am just in love with these digi's and think that soon I will have to get some more of them! Although I think I might get the rubber stamps from Whimsy. Isn't it nice to have both options?
