Happy New Year!! I hope that all your wishes and dreams come true in this brand new year!!
This year is one of change for me. With our move coming up at the end of the month, that brings a new home, a new climate, new friends, new things to see....I'm so excited!!
I don't make resolutions per se, but instead yearly goals. I was pleased to read back on last years post--January 1, 2010 to see that I did achieve some of my goals!
Here's my goals for this year~
Here's my goals for this year~
- Continue to grow my TAC business by holding FUNshops, classes and online
- Attend TAC seminar in June
- Continue to improve my coloring skills
- Be more diligent on getting RAK's out each month
- Scrapbook! Scrapbook! Scrapbook!!
- Read!
- Calendar and recipe pages monthly--more on that in a bit
- Stick to my crafty allowance--use what I have!
- Get outside and do more things with my family
Onto today's creation~ My sweet friend, Christine, has truly inspired me! She has been creating calendar pages and recipe cards that are too, too wonderful so I thought I'd follow in her footsteps and make myself a calendar and also start making recipe cards with our favorite recipes! Sam is going to make me little stands for both of these when we move too!
I liked the calendar template at Taylored Expressions so that is what I am using. I am using the 6x6 size for my calendar but also purchased the mini size to maybe make some smaller ones for gifts.
For January's page I decided to use my TAC set, Winter Flurries and Snowflakes -retired as when I think of January I think of cold, snowy weather--even if it isn't always the case! LOL!
