Before I head into today’s creation, wanted to answer a question I’ve been asked.
~Many of you asked how I’m organizing the challenges now. It’s pretty simple, I was just “starring” them in my google reader but then I’d have to go through so many to find the ones I wanted to play along with. Then I tried writing them all down…well, it never failed that I’d either misplace the sheet or use it under a project and well, yeah, it didn’t work. So a friend suggested I bookmark them and put into folder into my bookmark toolbar--I have tried it and I like it! I have a folder for each day/date--then I bookmark the challenges for that day and it’s easy for me to glance at them and then poof, they are deleted when the week is over! Working for me so far!

Our challenge this week at FBW is to use punches and/or die cuts. I’ve combined this card with another fun new challenge of sorts~ Pixie’s Bookshelf. This month we are reading Wings by Aprilynne Pike. I got the book on Monday and err..umm..finished it Monday…I loved it! But part of the challenge besides reading the book is to create a project with wings, so that’s what I did.
I used a Pixie Dust Studio digi, Fall Pixie (for those who’ve read the book--this is fitting for Laurel, no?) for my creation and then added punched out butterflies so she’d qualify for FBW.
The little details~ digi-Fall Pixie, copics, Martha Stewart punches, Basic Grey Sweet Threads, Kaisercraft pearls, stickles,

She is so cute!! I love the colors you used...here's a giggle for you. I oooh'ed and ahh'ed over the paper and then looked at the little details - um...I own it! Obviously I haven't even looked at it yet, I just bought it because I buy everything Basic Grey!
