Leaving comments...

I've been seeing many people post on Facebook and other places about not being able to leave comments on blogger posts.

Not sure this is a fix for everyone, but please take a look at what browser you are using. IE has MANY issues with posting comments, if you switch to Firefox, which is free, it usually works fine. I switched a year or more ago and don't think I've had any troubles leaving comments since I switched.

Hope this helps a bit!

SOG-Make a Scene

I really need more time in the day—doesn’t everyone!! Another challenge I always want to play along with is the Some Odd Girl Challenges. This week their challenge is to Create a Scene. At first I went ACK…because it sounded scary. LOL! I’ve created scenes with stamps before but not digi’s (I haven’t had a chance to order the clear SOG stamps) (SOG stands for Some Odd Girl) so I wasn’t quite sure what I was going to do.

After I looked through my stamps, I found this little background scene from Magnolia and though it would work perfectly with Bu’Fly Tia. I kept the card simple to show off my little scene.

The little details~ digi- Bu’ Fly Tia, copics, ultrafine white sharpie poster paint pen, Magnolia butterfly background, corner rounder, cuttlebug Just My Type border embossing folder, Kaisercraft rhinestones, stickles

And I have to share~~ I’ve been Chibi’d!

I have seen several of my blogging friends with their cute Chibi’d avatars so I decided I needed one too!

I gave Kristy these photos of me to work with~

Copic flip book

I have seen many versions of this out in blogging land..Suzanne has an awesome reference sheet, Jen has the prismacolor version and is what gave me the idea for this and Dana showed her sheet too and I know there are others—ohhh, just remembered Shaela has a page now too on this!~~ so I decided to make my own little copic reference flip book.

I have had my “combos” written down on papers for a while but thought how handy it would be to “see” the combos vs. just the numbers. I stamped Daisy from The Greeting Farm on 4x5 sheets of cardstock and then colored her with different hair, skin and color combos. I plan on making all the sheets into a little flip book so I can easily *see* the colors I want to use!

By no means are these “my” color combos..many are from other bloggers (the ones mentioned above and others) but now they are in one place for me.

I will create a tab up top with all the pages shown at some point for your reference. This is an ongoing project as it’s fun to see the different skin tones with the different hair, etc.

Here’s some of the first ones I did at craft group—some I plan on redoing as it took me a while to get a hang of coloring the image and then I hadn’t refilled my “favorite” copics before going so some ran out of ink.
