Digi Choosday Challenge-Something You Have Used Many Times

It's time for another challenge at the Digi Choosday Crafting Challenge! It's another "Anything Goes" challenge so I hope you'll come join in the fun!

The team was challenged to create a project with something you have used many times. I thought about it and decided that I use my copics on almost every card, I like to have layers usually and I love adding pearls and sparkle so those are the things I use many times.

I had a hard time choosing which awesome image to use as there are SO many fabulous stamps in the Polkadoodles shop but finally decided on the super cute L'il Miss Cutiepie. I just adore her!!

My papers come from the Winnie Celebrations Kit 2-Papers 1 digital papers. Once the card was complete I added touches of sparkle to the bow and flower. The finishing touch was adding some pearls.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll come join us at Digi Choosday Crafting Challenge!

On the bright side, more candles means more cake

The next challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Facebook group was to Pick 3 from: Brads/Buttons, Card Sketch from KKS, Slimline Card, Stitching, Stenciling and Metallic Element.

I chose slimline, stenciling and brads/buttons. I used the fun Party Piggies stamp set and the Party Time Banners stencil. As I was almost done with my card I dropped my black inkpad on the card and it was a mess so I had to redo the Marquee Die/Stenciled background part and I changed it to the Lots 'o Dots stencil. I think that's one of the most versatile stencils.

And then when I was done I realized I forgot the brads/buttons. Oh well, I tried. I don't think I'll get the last one done in time but I'm going to try.  This was so fun to play along with these challenges. Sort of helped me rediscover/reconfirm my love for this hobby!

Have a great night!

A little snail mail

The next Kraftin' Kimmie challenge was ink blending. I decided to use the Love Bugs stamp set. So many possibilities!

After thinking about it, I decided to use the cute little snail with the letter in his mouth. Since the image was so small, I thought a little 4 x 4 card would be perfect.

I used the Kraftin' Kimmie Smokin' Squares Stencil and some Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink to make a little place for the adorable little snail. I then used the negative space from the Smokin' Squares stencil and put it over the ink blending I just did and then inked up the Kraftin' Kimmie Beautiful Burlap stencil in Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink

As I was creating I wasn't sure if I liked how it was coming out but in the end, I really think this little card turned out cute!!

Have a super great day!!

In a world full of fish, be a mermaid!

The next challenge at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Facebook group is a water themed card.

I realized, to my horror, that I had never inked up the "Be a Mermaid" set! I had to correct that immediately!! Such pretty mermaids and I love that there are rays and dolphins in the set too!!

I used my Whimsy Stamps Slimline Waves die to create my card with the mermaids and rays. Always fun to create with mermaids! I can't wait for next month for Mer-May!! Hoping to share LOTS of mermaid cards but we'll see how time and energy plays into that! 😉

I have to say that my new extended magnetic platform was worth it's weight in gold when cutting out the slimline die. I've struggled with that so I took the plunge and invested in the extended magnetic platform. What a difference and no frustration! Yay!! Now I feel more confident in purchasing more of the fun dies that are out there!

In my haste and excitement over the die working so well I glued the lighter blue onto the diecut before stenciling or stamping anythng on it. I added a few bubbles from the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps set, Turtley Awesome to it but still wish I had added more before gluing it down.

These mermaids make me smile. Can't wait to use them again!!

Have a wonderful day!

Sending tweet wishes from our little nest!

Playing along with the next Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge in their Facebook group. This one is to make a spring birthday card.

I decided on the stamp set, You're Pretty Fly. When I think of spring I think of all the birds chirping and new little chicks learning to fly so I thought this was perfect.

Another fun and happy card! I'm having so much fun playing along with these challenges! 5 more to go, if I want to do them all!

Have a super day!

You are one in a BUZZillion!

A tag for today! I don't make that many tags, not sure why, but one of the challenges for the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Facebook Group from last weekend was a tag so I decided to jump in with both feet! 😁

I pondered many different stamp sets but decided to use one of my favorites, Sweet as Can BEE! I'm sort of on a small mission to help bees so they were already on my mind so when I saw this stamp set, I knew I had to use it!

I found a forgotten Sizzix tag die that was perfect for this. I also used the same SU Gingham Garden designer series paper that I used on THIS card and THIS set of cards because it's just perfect for these cute little bees!

Thanks for stopping by!! I hope to be LOTS this weekend with more cards for Kraftin' Kimmie challenges!! Have a great day!
