Lots of fun!!

Be sure to check out Susana's store for lots of FUN, new products and amazing give-aways!!

Tilda with Hearts

I know some people don't like these Magnolia's because they don't have noses and mouths but I just adore them. I needed a card for the Magnolia group I'm on for a mingle--I send a card and get one in return. The theme was love/red/pink/white.
I kept the card very simple as my partner lives in Germany so I wanted the card to fair the mail system well.

Supplies:
card size: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
stamps: Tilda with hearts, A Muse Essential Ovals,
paper: TAC Ultrasmooth white cardstock , K&Company Sweet Talk mat pad, sparkle cardstock
ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Palette Charcoal
others: copics, prismacolors, OMS,
Clear Copic Glitter Pen, corner rounder, CM punch, stardust stickles

That was then, this is now #4

Time for another that was then, this is now!! I'm having the best time with these. I remember how proud I was of this card as I used my Fiskars Texture Plates for it.

That was then......
And this is now....

Supplies:
card size: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
stamps: TAC Pansies-retired
paper: TAC Ultrasmooth cardstock, cardstock, paper from my stash
ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Palette French Lilac
others: prismacolors, OMS, stardust pen

A special RAK

Look at that smile!! The crafting community is always surprising me with kindness. I just recently found Sharon's blog as she joined some yahoo groups I'm in. Well, when she posted this amazing Hello Kitty card, I left a comment saying how cute it was and that my daughter would love it. Do you see what she did!!She sent it to Belle!!

Thank you so much, Sharon as you made a little girl EXTREMELY happy!

Wow!!

Check out this card! Truly amazing!!

Femme Puppy

When I first saw this stamp in Susana's store, I simply fell in love with it. Sadly it's been sitting here uninked, poor thing. So I had to remedy that tonight!!
I must admit I had a bit of an artistic challenge figuring out some of the coloring but it was fun!

Supplies:
card size: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
stamps:
Femme Puppy , TAC Oh How-inside
paper: TAC ultrasmooth white cardstock, cardstock, paper from my scraps
ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Palette Viridian Leaf, Palette Starry Night
others: copics, prismacolors, OMS, December Sky Blingz Shimmerz, Martha Stewart punch, bella embellishments

So sweet!

I don't know the name of this cutie as she came in a grab bag I got from TAC years ago but I just think she's so adorable! I used a SCS sketch, SC204.

Supplies:
card size: 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
stamps: TAC , TAC My Girlie Girl-retired-on inside
paper: Georgia Pacific, Basic Grey Euphoria
ink:Memento Tuxedo Black, Palette Boudoir Blush, Palette French Lilac

Christmas Stampin' All Year Long

My post went "live" before the post on the inspiration blog so be sure to go check it out and play along!!
Christmas Stampin' All Year Long

Christmas Cards All Year Long

When I read Maria's blog a week or so ago, she had a post that she was starting a blog that only post Christmas/Winter cards and she was looking for blog team members. I was thrilled when she emailed me that I could join in on the fun!! What a great idea to help us all get those Christmas cards done and provide some inspiration too!!
Today is the launch of the blog, Christmas Stampin' All Year Long so be sure to go over and check it out!! We'd love to have you join in on the fun!
For this first week Maria gave us a sketch to use. ( Have you seen her sketches? She ROCKS at them!)
Here's what I came up with~ I used fun flock on his beard, moustache and eyebrows. On his coat trim I used glitter. On the stars I used Lemon Copic Glitter Pen and for the candle glow I used Candle Light Shimmerz--it seemed appropriate, no? I also used stickles on the die cut star--quite the array of sparkle, huh? I had to alter the sketch a bit as my sentiment was too big to go on the front but I thought it turned out cute.

card size: 5 1/2 x 5 1/2
stamps: TAC Whimsey Santa , TAC Dare To Dream-on inside, retired
paper: Georgia Pacific

Oh yeah!

I was so inspired by the ladies today plus I have a challenge going with a friend to create at least one scrapbook page a week, that tonight I did two pages. I had so much fun!!
I must confess, that part of the reason I haven't been scrapping is because I got caught in a trap that I know better not to get in. The "comparison" trap. I look at all these beautiful pages in magazines and online and I get discouraged as my style is very traditional, very simple. But ya know what--I like it. I need to stop that comparison game and just relax and have fun!
I like my pages, I like that I use lots of photos on a page! I like stickers and I'm going to use them. So hopefully with this new release of trying to keep up with the Jones I can actually begin scrapping more again as it truly is my first love.
Here's the two pages I did tonight. Off to bed for me!

Oh so cute!!

Have you seen this? Oh my word! I am loving the sneak peeks from Jessica Lynn Originals! I will have to get the guinea pigs for sure, they are just too cute!!
Be sure you check out this great site!! She's also giving away some blog candy!

The best day!

I had the B-E-S-T time today at a little scrapbook get together with my new friends here in town. I'm still smiling! Best thing I ever did for myself was contacting Jennifer through SU.
I'm a happy crafter tonight!

That was then, This is now #3

I've heard from many of you that you enjoy these posts so I will continue them. It's a lot of fun for me too! This card was my first one that I was so proud of! I stamped the background, woo-hoo! Now looking at it, all I see is those uncolored bears {shudder}!! LOL!

That was then....
And this is now.....

Kid sayings??

Does anyone know of some stamp sets or stamps that have kid sayings like You're Awesome, or Way to Go or things like that? I know TAC has one that I plan to get but wondered if there were anymore out there.
If you know of something, please let me know, I would so appreciate it!

Happy Mail Day!

I was so pleased today to get both of the sets I won on ebay earlier in the week! Yippie!!
I'm also hosting a swap on my yahoo group and I've been so lucky to have most of the swappers include extra images for me. I'm the luckiest stamper today!!
Off to put some of these stamps to use!

Waaahhhh!

For some bizarre reason I can't access my blog to view it or anyone else's to leave comments. It says I'm a virus or something, but I'm not.
I'm working on the problem but if I don't make it to comment.....that's why!
My world revolves around these blogs......sad but true.........so this is not a good thing for me!!

**EDIT** It's working again, whew! Sorry I freaked out but ya know, that's what I do best! LOL!
You may now resume your regular blog hopping!

Can you see my smile??

Oh my! Why haven't I made my kids cards before? It was awesome.
They came downstairs and I had them sitting on the table where they sit. Matthew noticed them first and yelled, "Annabelle, there's something on the table". Then he ran to turn on the light and ran back. They both said thank you, mom and they sat down to look at them.
They both said thank you a few more times and they were both beaming! Belle is still holding hers. LOL!!
This is what it's all about!

Card for Belle

Since I made Matthew his first card, I figured I better have a card for Belle too. I used a cute image that a friend sent me. Fun!! Another simple one as she's only 4 but still cute! I can't wait to see their faces in the morning when they find these!! I love being a mom!

Supplies:
card size: 4 1/2 x 3
stamps: image from someone else
paper: from my scraps--TAC
ink: Palette Bordeaux
others: prismacolors, stickles

Edit--Leave it to my daughter, she noticed that I made a boo-boo! Can you spot it? No? I didn't color one of the shoes--the one above the bar. Sigh. And then I colored it for her and I didn't grab the "right" pink. Sigh. I have a feeling she's going to be my toughest critic!

First card for Matthew

I was so excited to receive images from Tina that I had to use one right away! I chose this cute dragon from Lelo Designs. I thought it would make a cute card to say You're awesome! I kept it simple, after all he's 7 but I can tell this is going to be so much fun to finally make cards for my kids.

Supplies:
card size: 4 1/2 x 4 1/2
stamps: image from someone else, TAC Simply Because-retired-on inside
paper: cardstock, paper from my scraps--I think it was CTMH
ink: SU Real Red
others: prismacolors, OMS, glaze pen,
Red Copic Glitter Pen , Celery Shimmerz, buttons, White Scrappers Floss, CM fine tip pen
