I am having the worst time with photos in my posts today so I'm leaving this as is! The sketch this week for the CAC group was from Maria Bell and for me it was very interesting. I guess I'm too much of a perfectionist on some things and to have that rectangle be crooked was hard for me!
The first card uses Flowahbella. I colored her using prismacolors and then added some touches of stardust pen to the center of the flowers. I doodled around the image with a CM fine point pen. I also used my A muse essential ovals for her to stand on. The rectangle was cuttlebugged (is that a word?) and then I used versamagic chalk inks on it. The patterned paper is from a Pocket Full of Posies stack. Added the ribbon and buttons as a final touch.
The second card I thought of when I couldn't sleep last night. :-) I cuttlebugged the black pieces of paper but had the hardest time photographing it so they'd show. The image is TAC's SOTM (stamp of the month) Buggy Boxes. I colored it with markers and then went over the ladybug with a stardust pen. I added the ribbon and then punched out the two flowers with a CM punch.

I angle my stuff all the time. I LOVE to do it. See I don't cut straight sometimes so if I angle it then it takes the focus off. LOL. Lots of tricks hahaha. But no matter what these cards are way to cute and so is that darn ladybut. Is it retired?
Both are sweet cards and I love the embossing!
Awwww love the lady bug card!!!
