I've never done one of Taylor's Cupcake Friday Challenges but thought this sketch looked fun so I tried it. Although my card sort of took a different direction as Ms. Cuppacakeabella was a much larger image than the sketch. But regardless, I tried.
I colored my image with copics, prismacolors and OMS. I used my A Muse essential ovals for the cupcake to sit on. I also paper pieced the cupcake paper. Since my sewing machine already had pink thread in it, I actually used it. LOL! The paper is TAC Catelynne. I struggled with the ribbon and then it was too small for the ribbon slots I used so I helped hide those with a button.
I used cotton candy stickles on the cupcake and a glaze pen on the cherry. It was a fun card to create, even if it waviered from the sketch!
