Pink Papery Studio DT challenge Nov. 19

This week’s challenge comes from Cassie. November is Diabetes Awareness Month. My grandfather was diabetic and my mother is also now a diabetic. The awareness ribbon color for diabetes is GRAY – to represent the drudgery of dealing with diabetes every day. A red dot is often shown on the ribbon to represent the multiple times a day that a diabetic must check their blood. I challenge you to create a card using the colors GRAY and RED.

I really struggled with this challenge. Red and Gray are not my "normal" colors that I use. I tried to find something in my stacks of paper but finally decided on just cardstock. The gray cardstock I used is actually sparkly--really pretty in person.
I used my digi stamp, Just Coffee , again. I really like this image! It is just so classy. I colored her with my prismacolors and then used a corner punch for the corners and some chalk around the edges. I added the red brads for some "extras".

Be sure to check out the other DT's creations!! Links are over there -----> !!

Very cool challenge. I learned something new - I didn't know the ribbon colors. I love the colors together and your card is super cute. Love the tilted image and little brads. Hope you start feeling better soon!

Love the card Danni! Living with diabetes is such a pain (pun intended) but this gal shows such diva style and grace, she's an inspiration herself.
