I say see ya later all the time to Sam. I'm an army wife. It's what we do. But it's never easy. I thought tonight I'd be fine but he just left and well, it just stinks. LOL!
I'm fine, just wanted to get some of the "feelings" out.
Off to cuddle with my pups.......

Oh Danni. I feel for you. I don't know if I could tell my man bye as often as you have to do. But I am very proud to call you a friend because you do say bye to your man so that he may serve this great country that is home to so many of us. His service allows us to live in such a place and have the freedoms we have because he chose to serve.

My DH did 22 years in the Navy so I know how you feel - you miss them terribly when they go and they get under your feet when they get back! hugs, annie x
Oh Danni, I totally feel for you. I know it is not the same as my DH isn't in the same danger as yours but he's been working away from home for 7 months (home 2 days a week, sometimes) and it is soooo hard everytime he leaves. I'm thinking of you!

Try not to be too sad. Your DH is a hero in my eyes. I know plenty of DH's that could never do what he does. We all know you are proud and I just want you to know that I am proud of you for being strong for all of us.
Your DH is absolutely a hero. I'm so sorry, I'm sure it's never easy to say good bye. Just know I'm thinking about ya and he'll be home before you know it :)

Oh, Danni, I am so sorry, I read your post from the other day, and it doesn't matter if they are only gone a day it is still hard to be without the ones you love, especially your husband. I won't even pretend to know what you are going through as, Jason has only ever been gone at the longest four days, but they were so rough! I can't even imagine a month or longer! My thoughts and prayers are with you and I am always here for you!
