I just wanted to say thank you for all the kind words. I really appreciate them.
I think I mis-wrote or mislead in my post that this was his deployment, it's not. He's just gone for training for a month. A month is really nothing and truly I'm fine. I just get a little weepy on the days he leaves.
His big deployment is in May. And it's his third one so we know the routine well.
I just wanted to thank you all and clarify. Also, hope I didn't come off as whiny or anything, as I'm not.
Sam and I will have been married 10 years in May. I met him when he was in basic training so we know the military life well and you just do what you gotta do.
Like I said, I just get weepy on days he leaves.
Okay, I've put off the laundry long enough......guess I'll go tackle it. Blech.
Hope you have a happy day!

Danni, you should never apologize for being sad. I too went through what you are and let me tell you, when they go out to the field for a month it seems like forever and when they leave to protect us that is even harder. Know that we all love you and we all appreciate the job Sam is doing. Know that you have friends and you have your kidlets. But know that he will be back. I am sorry that you need to go through this, oh how I remember. Funny thing we used to have a saying. "Keep your head up and remember I love you" that was the last thing we always said when he would leave and it helped.
So now keep creating because you truly are a wonder and I love to see you creations.

Hee hee....funny how us Army gals don't even blink at a month away. We've been doing it for 18 years. This is our first assignment where he hasn't had to deploy. You let me know if you need anything friend!!
big hugs,
Jami
