That was then, this is now #5

Time for another That was then, this is now card. I must say at least the image is colored pretty decent on the old card.

That was then.....
This is now.....

Supplies:
card size: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
stamps: TAC retired Cherry Blossom Bird
paper: Georgia Pacific
ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
others: copics, prismacolors, OMS, CM cutting system, Heidi Swapp distressing tool, cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder,

I will be having cards like this that are more simple so they are easy to mail for the card ministry at church. For those of you who asked about it, for now the ladies bible study is going to send out a few cards each week to randomly selected people from the prayer requests from the church. We hope this will bring a smile to them and let them know that we care and are praying for them.

well that little bird image is beautiful on both cards, but as we get more stash and gagets we can complicate the design! love the pretty blue and pink on the second card the best and a lovely idea to send a card to someone in need of a little cheering up. hugs, annie x

i love this - those will be very lucky people to get a handmade card! i also love clean and simple - sometimes it seems like there is too much stuff on cards!
great image and so beautifully colored!

Danni,

I think the card is lovely, and at times I think people get so carried away in order just to wow others and get people to look at it that it is just too much!!!

I think your Now card is lovely and still has quite a few layers. I have a friend that says I can not do all those layers they are just a waist of paper!!! In a way they can be!!!

I really think you did an awesome job on both birds with your coloring, but the second is a tad bit better, however if I had not seen them both I would have thought the first was wonderful too!!!

You have come a long way girl, but your first cards are not bad cards to begin with!!!

Great Job Danni!!!

ok I have to say the second card is like 150% more AWESOME!! Interesting though that your bird in the first card has a pretty good coloring job - you must be a natural :)
