Since I'm turning the big 4-0 soon, I thought I would share 40 things about me....(hint, hint, these might be useful next month on Flutter By Wednesday's).
- My birthday is September 4, 1969
- My favorite color is pink
- I have a weakness for cookies, especially right from the oven chocolate chip ones
- Dr. Pepper is usually my soda of choice
- I drink sweet tea at home mostly
- I order a vanilla latte' at Starbucks during the winter
- and a White mocha raspberry frappaccino in the summer
- I graduated from high school in 1987
- I love music but 80's music is my favorite
- I love animals...love seeing them and learning about them
- When the kids are older I want to volunteer/work at a zoo
- My dream is to go on an African safari
- I have a small collection of Precious Moments figurines
- I collect thimbles
- When I was little I wanted to grow up to be a mommy
- Sometimes I feel my heart will explode with the love I feel for my kids and husband
- I love my friends and try to be a good friend as well
- I like Winnie the Pooh and his friends
- Love TinkerBell
- The person I miss the most in my life is my great-grandma, Vada
- I played Wonder Woman often when I was younger
- My marriage to Sam is my third marriage...I really got it right the third time
- My favorite indulgence is a Dr. Pepper and Reece's Peanut Butter Cup
- I worked at a camera store for 7 years before I met Sam-my job was to develop all the film for the one hour lab--I was the lab manager
- I also had my own photography business and did portraits, weddings and wildlife photography--I love the wildlife photography
- I love glitter and sparkle--betcha didn't know that...hehehe
- I loved playing with barbies and dolls growing up
- Before scrapbooking and stamping I did counted cross stitch all the time
- I was born in Boulder, Colorado
- I love the mountains and miss camping in them
- I've never been snow skiing
- I use to have my own motorcycle
- I have one tattoo of Thumper from Bambi
- I have a love of reading but haven't done much of it lately
- I've never had a manicure or pedicure
- I tried acrylic fingernails once when I was pregnant with Matthew, hated them so much I ripped them off the same night
- I don't like crowds--worst crowd I've been in is at Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany
- My favorite movies are : Dirty Dancing, Ever After, Top Gun, Titanic and 50 First Dates
- I feel so blessed for all that I have in my life and hope to pass some smiles onto others every day
- My favorite flower is a carnation

oh this was great! we have several things in common. i have 2 tattoos (a flower on my ankle and a shooting star on my forearm); and my DH is my 3rd too! i have a friend who is from south africa so when you're ready for that safari...... and i absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE dirty dancing. that was soooo much like my life after my 1st divorce. and in the catskills too!
and i am so blessed that you are a part of my life! let me be one of the firsts to say i wish you 40 more years of happiness, health, wealth, success and most of all peace of mind & heart!

I haven't even gotten to read everything yet, I was to intrigued that YOU & I were born on the exact same day in the same year........
I'm a bit freaked out though. 40 has always been an age I considered to be OLD, guess I better change my way of thinking pretty fast.

This was fun to read I was born in Pueblo Colorado and my family is all there we go a few times a year to visit!!!
My parents lived in Trinidad at the time, but the only OBGYN there then was the same Dr. who started the first Sex Change opperations and so my Mom refused to go to him LOL!!!
So they went down to Pueblo where they were both from to go to the OB and to have me there too!!!
