Diedrich Dare #11- Easel Card

My goodness, I never got a thing made this weekend! Total exhaustion hit me. I think I've been so focused on getting the kids well these past 3 weeks that I just ignored my own body's signs. Well once the kids were better my body said "HELLO! WE NEED SLEEP!"  LOL! So I've been going to bed early and basically just being a couch potato for most of the weekend. I'm starting to feel a bit more energized so I thought I'd work on some cards.
I wanted to play along with this week's Diedrich Dare #11, make an easel card. I thought that Latte, one of the new Elisabeth Bell for SCACD Sampler 2 images, would be fun to ink up and use.

supplies:

• card size: 4 x 4
  
• stamps: Latte, MFT Hot Stuff for sentiment,
  
• paper: SU cardstock, Recollections Autumn, 
  
• ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, SU Really Rust,
  
• others: copics, copic glitter pens, CTMH ribbon, cappuccino bella baubles, glue dots, SU punches,
  

What I did:
I started by stamping Latte onto my cardstock with Memento ink and then coloring her with copics. I added a few accents with copic glitter pens.
I used these directions again for the card itself. I picked papers and embellishments and finished off the card. Seriously, if you haven't tried these, do try!! They are super easy and fun (and addictive) cards to make!
