Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge #48

I have finally admitted to myself that I am a sketch addict. I just love them. I struggle so much with layouts of cards (and scrapbook pages) that sketches are like a dream come true to me.

That being said, I just had to play along with Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge this week!! What a fun sketch!!

I don't know why but I'm enjoying making different types/sizes of cards lately. Guess it's fun to break up the routine a bit.

Here's my creation~

supplies:

• card size: 7 1/4 x 4 1/4
  
• stamps: Lil' Snowman,
  
• paper: SU cardstock, some from my stash,
  
• ink: Memento Tuxedo Black,
  
• others: copics, Martha Stewart glitter and snow, quickie glue pen, glitter clean up cloth, snowflake cuttlebug embossing folder, swiss dots cuttlebug embossing folder, sizzix snowflake die,  Martha Stewart punch, Kaisercraft Snow Pearl,
  

What I did:
I started by stamping Victoria Case's Lil' Snowman in Memento ink onto my cardstock and colored the image with copics. 
Can't have a snowman without sparkle so I added some Martha Stewart glitter and snow to the image with my quickie glue pen and then let it dry overnight.
A must have when working with glitter or other fun sparkly stuff is the glitter clean up cloth. I really like how easy and well this works!
Next I cut out my image, picked my papers, embossed the white and pink cardstocks, adhered everything and added some embellisments. I didn't add any sparkle to the snowflakes as I wanted the lil' snowman to stand out.
One little tip on this card too. Since the striped paper was a scrap, it wasn't long enough. All I did was cut it in half and hide the cut behind the image panel.
