I thought the new images in Sampler Edition #3 by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD would be perfect for this challenge...but how to choose which one! LOL!
I finally decided on New Friends...such a sweet image! The designer paper I used has glitter on it--for the glittery part of the challenge and the buttons are sparkly too!
I also used this past Sunday's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #56.
And for my weekend crew, I was going to ribbon on the inside and then it just wouldn't work so I guess I fail at this weekend's theme!
I couldn't get a good photo of the inside as it's such light ink, but the sentiment says: Your friendship is like a song of spring.

Also, question for ya~~ how do you decide what challenges to play along with? There are so many out there that I get overwhelmed and don't know what to choose! Do you pick your image first and then see what challenges it will fit or do you have your favorite challenges you play along with and then decide what to use?? Do you keep a list of the ones you want to play along with?? Tell me all about how you choose and keep track of challenges, please!

As for challenges - I have a loooong list! lol! Sometimes I go through the list for inspiration, but most of the time I pick my image, etc and then go looking for challenges to match - both work very well :)

So cute!!! I think this is my favorite stamp of the new set.
As for challenges, there are certain sketch ones I follow weekly. I keep a notebook of a bunch of the themed daily challenges and then link my cards up if they happen to fit the weekly theme. If nothing else, I've got ideas when I'm not feeling creative. For the sketch ones, I usually pick an image first and then find a sketch to go along with it.

As for challenges, wow that is a tough question. I keep an Excel spreadsheet of my favorites which lists the challenge name, type, date, and prize if any. I don't participate in them all each week but I have my favorites often based on what images I like to use. Sometimes I will focus on one or two challenges when I make a card and once complete then match it to more if I can. Challenges that won't allow combining generally don't attract my interest.
Beautiful card.. so soft and elegant! Usually i write down all my faves on Sunday night or Monday night and then see which ones I can combine and go from there.. there are so many I would like to do but just can't do them all each week. And I keep finding more each week!

As for challenges, I'm not much help for you on that one! I love magnolias so I tend to like those. But other then that I cannot be much help!

What a gorgeous card, Danni, I love the colors and papers you used and the image is so adorable. As for challenges, I tend to only do challenges that surround images that I love to play with. For instance, I love the Just Magnolia challenge and the challenges at Magnolialicious Highlights because I love Magnolia images. I also like sketch challenges so I like Mojo Monday, Friday Sketchers, and Sketch Saturday. That being said, I haven't done any of these challenges since I came back from my break, but I hope to soon :)

I usually like to try the Project Tuesday Challenge because I like branching out beyond cards. Your FBW's are on my list of favorites as well. Other than that I try others that I am attracted to "sketch wise". I don't keep track, and get very overwhelmed myself sometimes.

YEs, I too have been having problems with Reader and yeah, I gave up after a few times trying!!
As for the challenges, I have a few I like to play along often. But I do have quite a lot of challenges on my Reader list and I seperate them by days. For example, for all mondays, I label it monday, and so forth. I also have a little table with all the current challenges. But I usually just make a card base on one challenge and then look for more challenges to go with it...if I have time, of course. Hope this helps!
Danni your card is gorgeous! For Challenges, I tried to list the one's that a regularly follow/try to follow on my sidebar, that way I have a quick reference. I find that if I try to do too many then I end up with more cards than I'll ever need and not enough time to post. I have my basic 4 or 5 that I consult, and they are mostly sketches...I feel very restricted by colours etc.

For challenges, I keep a list of faves that I try to visit each week, and others that I find through challenge posts. If I find a challenge or two that interest me and I have enough time to play along before the deadline, then I go ahead create something.

As for challenges, I just have a datebook by my computer and as I go through my Google Reader, I write them down and when I have the time to craft, I first check out my DT requirements and then go from there with whatever tickles my fancy!
I just got my new stamps today, they are so cute...darling card! I usually do sketches and just whenever I get to them.
