Sweet Mermaid

As I was re-arranging some things I found my folder of digi images...this sweet mermaid from Victoria Case Art Designs sung out to me that she'd really like to be colored and turned into a card. How could I disappoint her?

I couldn't decide on what color to use for the sweet octopus so I just went with some fun colors. I've discovered that I, ahem, have quite the paper stash. How did that happen? So I'm working on using up some of it..some of the stuff that normally I wouldn't use. Amazing how with just the right image things work! 

To finish the card I added one of my new flowers, Petaloo Chantilly Collection in Mauve and some branches punched with my Martha Stewart punch. Of course she had to sparkle so I added some touches of stickles to her tail and some copic glitter pens to add sparkly highlights to her hair and her shirt.
