Just have to ask…

Do you ever have something that is just nagging you..that you can’t get out of your head? well, here’s mine…..

Ever since The Angel Company closed I have really, really, really missed having that part of my crafting. It’s hard to explain but I just love being a part of a company, selling it, meeting people, etc.

Stampin’ Up is something I really would love to do but I’m not at a point to give up my design teams/linking to the stores of design teams so that’s out.

A Muse is saturated with friends and really, as great as their products are, not really for me.

That brings us to Close To My Heart. I had originally said no, not my thing to this company too but with their latest catalog and the Cricut cartridge and well, all of it…I’m very intrigued.

My question is this~~ do you have a CTMH consultant? if not, is it something you might be interested in if I had a separate blog with lots of inspiration and such? If the interest is there, I’d be willing to set up hostess clubs and other fun things….(and to my local crafty group, I know you have a consultant and wouldn’t expect anything from you all!)

It’s just something I can’t let go of but instead of following my impulsive side, I’m trying to be logical about it…so just had to ask! Thanks and thanks for your honesty in advance!!

Off to get some McD’s for lunch (have I mentioned my McD’s Sweet Tea obsession?) and then I’m getting crafty!! Have a happy day!

Aw, I wish I could help, but I have never been one to really follow with such companies - however, I did just see the latest CTMH catty at my last scrap together, and there were some really cute things in there, lol!
Good luck, Danni! I hope you find what you are looking for! xo

Hi Danni,

CTMH is awesome! I am a consultant and love their product, plus I can still craft and blog as per usual, so it all works...and the Cricut cartridge is just so fun:-) Do you have a CTMH concultant in the US you buys from already?

Hugs, K

I can totally relate my friend!! SU! Not for me...their stuff always looks the same. They slap their labels on tools from EK, which really bothers me. Huge Morman family--not for me, esp after being with the best Christian stamping company TAC. CTMH--do not like their polymer stamps at all--I have never gotten a good image stamped from them. I do like their papers. aMuse- for me is the worst of them all their images--are tiny and childlike. So there you have it, basically there is nothing out there for me....boo hoo. I am doing memoryworks just for the paper {something to fill my void} until a better RUBBER, unmounted affordable option comes my way. Good luck deciding, I know you will do fabulous in whatever you decide. If memoryworks expands their stamps I will be very happy!!

We sure were spoiled with TAC!!

I have never looked into CTMH but would consider checking out their stuff if you want. But I do know all about the sweet tea at McD's. Addicting!

I love CTMH and my dealer quit so I would love to have you do it. I love their sentiment stamps!

I haven't looked into their products lately but I remember years ago that's how I got interested in crafting! I have been facing the same dilemma as you for the past 2 years now but with a different company so I just push it on the side. But I wish you the best of luck on whatever you decide!

I haven't really ever ordered from CTMH but I might be interested in ordering at some point. I don't think you'd need a separate blog, I'd be fine seeing it here.

I have had several CTMH consultants, but none in the past 3 years. I have had a couple of really talented CTMH consultants, but they each one could barely get enough sales to support the required minimums. They were working awfully hard to get the discount. I love the Cricut cartridges for CTMH (I don't own any yet) and in the past I have really liked their designer papers, card stock, ink pads, and ribbons…just not the clear stamps. I stopped buying just because I already have so much stash, but not because I didn't like their products. Are you looking for a way to promote a company AND make money? Or do you just like keeping your stash current while promoting?

What about looking for a DT that does a kit? I was toying with the idea and I started participating this year in various kit club challenges to try to win a free kit. (I did this for a couple of reasons…I wanted to see if I liked working with a kit and I wanted to be able to play with *new* paper lines without the expense of buying entire collections from each of my favorite paper companies.) I was a guest designer for Artful Delight in August, and I loved it! Then they had a DT call and I am on the DT starting November1-April 2012. Just a thought…

Good luck, Sweet Danni, on whatever you decide to do.

they have great products, and their cricut cartridge is so much fun to use (mine came last week), but they are sneaky with their shipping and handling charges and that makes none of us want to buy from them in my circle (you pay shipping and handling on the "retail value" of their product and not on what they are charging you for it...and 10% at that for their flat little stamps that cost them minimal amounts to mail to you), but their products are nice and of good quality...if you use their ink with their stamps you always get a good image...can't use stamping up ink with them or they get that bubbly wet look when you stamp them...memento works well too...just my honest opinion...good luck with your decision!

Danni, whatever you choose will be the right thing for you! It is a tough decision to venture out into something new, but exciting too!! Wishing you all the best with whatever you decide! :)
