Time to hop with SCACD!!

It’s that time again, release day at SCACD!! One of my most favorite days!!
Today SCACD releases fun and fresh stamps from the Susana Loves Stamps Collections!!! We start off with the Oddly Sweet Curiosities Set which harbors the cutest little Curiosities with matching sentiments. These are Fab and definitely year around fun!!! The second Set are four wonderful little ladies that make up The Little Sassy Crew. Check 'em out- they are the gals that have a sweetness and attitude factor that are off the charts!!! We are also introducing a fun little set of Mixed Media houses called M’s Place that makes them a must have for those that love cute in their Mixed Media.
So grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the ride!!! I’m the first stop on the blog hop but if you encounter a hiccup along the way, you can find the complete blog hop list on the store blog, Follow Your Heart!
My first card is featuring one of the FUN new stamps from the Oddly Sweet Curiousities Set #2, Monster Flirts.

Miss Monster Flirts seemed pretty girly to me so I paired her up with my Bo Bunny Little Miss Muffet Collection of papers. I paper pieced her and just colored a few details with my copics. I cut her out using a nestabilities and then masked the image and stamped a background using VersaMark and the Prima stamp sets--Fairy Flora and Butterfly Wishes. Then I dusted over the stamped images with Apple Blossom and Yellow Rose Luminarte Primary Elements Mica Powder.

I added Dies by SCACD- Garden Corners for some added interest. I stamped the sentiment that comes with Monster Flirts on a separate cardstock layer and then used a border punch to allow just the sentiment to be seen. If you can’t read it, it says~ How do I get everything I want? Slow but constant whining.

On the inside I just added a strip of the patterned paper and then I added some of the “punch outs” from the corner dies. To finish the card I added some Kaisercraft pearls and stickles.

The next card features one of the new Little Sassy Crew girls- Little Skullie! How fun is she! Love her attitude!

I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with my copics and ShinHan Art Touch Twin markers and cut her out. For her buckles and belt I used my stardust pen. I paired her with Basic Grey PB&J papers. For finishing touches I added a Dies By SCACD- Classic Corner Die, Kaisercraft rhinestones and stickles.

Here’s a little peek at a work in progress using the new M’s Place! Check back soon to see the finished creation!

Now you should hop on to Elaine’s amazing blog!! and don’t forget to head to SCACD to get your new stamps and other goodies you might find there! For our International friends, Quixotic Paperie has these stamps available too!!
