Divas by Design Challenge #45

After I haven’t created for several days I always find it so hard to get started so I thought I’d find a challenge or two to sort of jump start the creativity. The first one I found that caught my eye was Divas by Design Challenge #45 which is the theme of Happy Birthday! I needed a birthday card so it was perfect timing.

For my image I used a digi by Saturated Canary called Party Hardy and colored her with copics. I paired her with My Mind’s Eye- Miss Caroline- Dolled Up papers. I impressed myself by pulling my sewing machine out and remembering how to change the thread/bobbin and did some stitching on this card to add the more finished look to the edges.

I added some flowers and some swirlies with my Fiskars Scroll punch. To finish the card I added stickles, Kaisercraft pearls, a few touches with my stardust pen, Diamond Glaze to the cherry and trying out a technique I’ve seen several fellow bloggers using by putting a few touches of liquid pearls around the image.
This card seem to take me forever but I’m pleased with the final result. Now hopefully I can keep the creative bus rolling and have lots to share soon with you! Thanks for stopping by!
