The Pink Elephant #162

Today my baby boy turns 11! How on earth did that happen? So a big Happy Birthday to Matthew!  It’s also Monday so that means it’s time for The Pink Elephant Challenge! Be sure to check out the blog to see how you can play along and also to see the other design team member’s creations!
Our challenge this week is to create your own embellishments. I was stumped at first but then decided to create some rolled flowers.

My image is Peace Hat from Elisabeth Bell for SCACD, what a sweetie! I stamped her in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with my copics. I paper pieced her hat and shirt. I must say that sometimes I think I need a “Rolled Flowers for Dummies” book. I got them rolled where they don’t look too bad but we won’t discuss how many questionable words came out of my mouth or how often the die was thrown.

I added some Kaisercraft pearls in the middle of the rolled flowers along with some touches of stickles as they looked so plain without those touches. I also added some paper piercing to the corners of the image and stickles to her flower.
