In a world full of fish, be a mermaid!

The next challenge at the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Facebook group is a water themed card.

I realized, to my horror, that I had never inked up the "Be a Mermaid" set! I had to correct that immediately!! Such pretty mermaids and I love that there are rays and dolphins in the set too!!

I used my Whimsy Stamps Slimline Waves die to create my card with the mermaids and rays. Always fun to create with mermaids! I can't wait for next month for Mer-May!! Hoping to share LOTS of mermaid cards but we'll see how time and energy plays into that! 😉

I have to say that my new extended magnetic platform was worth it's weight in gold when cutting out the slimline die. I've struggled with that so I took the plunge and invested in the extended magnetic platform. What a difference and no frustration! Yay!! Now I feel more confident in purchasing more of the fun dies that are out there!

In my haste and excitement over the die working so well I glued the lighter blue onto the diecut before stenciling or stamping anythng on it. I added a few bubbles from the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps set, Turtley Awesome to it but still wish I had added more before gluing it down.

These mermaids make me smile. Can't wait to use them again!!

Have a wonderful day!
