MerMay is coming!!

MerMay is coming!! Yay!! I can't wait to share lots of mermaid cards with you!! Which reminds me that I should bring back Mermaid Monday's too!!

Sweet November Stamps loves mermaids so they have a little challenge this weekend in their Facebook group to share a mermaid card with one of their stamps and be entered into a drawing for a prize. That sounded like lots of fun so I thought I'd play along! 

Last year I bought the Mermees Set #1 and never inked it up so I thought today was the day to get it out and get inky and coloring!!

I just got some new Mini Slimline dies from Kat Scrappiness so I thought it would be fun to make a mini slimline card today! I really think this size, 3 1/2 x 6, is so fun!

I used the fun Mini Slimline Fancy Scallop Dies for today's card. 

I kept the background simple and the card/frame a neutral color so this cute Mermee and her crab friend would really stand out.

Making this card truly made me smile! I'm excited for Mer-May!
