Today I'm really challenging myself to use pastel colors for several challenges. We all know that I'm a bright color kinda gal so this was a true challenge!!
I sort of feel like I cheated but maybe not, LOL! I decided to paper piece the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, Perfect Peony. I struggle so much with coloring pastel colors that I felt this was the easiest way to achieve those soft colors.
I also discovered that I don't have that many designer papers that are pastel colors either! I did finally find some though!
I think it turned out pretty. I really need to branch out more often and do softer colors but oh how I love the bright, bold ones!
I'm playing along with the following challenges~
- inspiration for my challenge group, There's a Stamp For That, Challenge #20~ Anniversary or Pastel Colors or Mojo Monday Sketches 533-535.
- Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps~ Facebook group challenge from last weekend's virtual retreat fun~ Pastel Colors
- Always Fun Challenges~ Pastel Colors
Thanks for stopping by and have a super duper day!
