Four on Friday- La La Land Club Kit August 2014

Last year my friend, Alicia, (Crafty Al) and I started a series, Four on Friday. Life sort of got in the way and it got put on the back burner but we're back!! with a bit of a twist, LOL!

We thought we'd add to the fun by not telling each other what product or technique we're using so that it will be a surprise to us, which is just so intriguing!! The only criteria we gave each other is that it has to be four creations with the same product, technique, type of card, etc.

For this Four on Friday I decided to use the very first La La Land Crafts Club Kit all the way back from August 2014!! The good news is that most of the stamps and dies in this kit are still available!!

My first card is soft and sparkly! I love the purple and green color combo!

Next up I made a slimline card using the fab Slimline Waves Die from Whimsy Stamps. I really love this die for mermaid/water themed cards!! I do love orange and pink together too!! I had fun blending that background with Spiced Marmalade and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink!!

I added Glossy Accents to most of the bubbles and some Stardust Stickles to the pretty mermaid and fish. I LOVE this card so much!! Not sure I can give it away!!

As I started my third card all I could think of was bright, sunny and happy so I decided to use a lot of yellow! It just makes me smile! I thought it would be fun to make a mini slimline card for this one so I used my Kat Scrappiness Mini Slimline Fancy Scalloped Dies. I love how Sitting Mermaid Marci fills up the whole card. I thought she needed some sparkle so I added some Unicorn Stickles and some rhinestones.

For my last card I made a cute little 4x4 card with only the fish stamps and some diecuts! So much fun!!

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out Alicia's video HERE!! Have a great day!!

That Seaweed Border die truly gives your mermaid cards an “under the sea” look. All four cards are exceptionally colorful and give a playful aura. So cute!
