Sweet November Stamps recently had a new release of Halloween clear stamps. I debated about getting them but finally just dove in and bought them all as the possibilities are endless with these sets and they are so fun!!
In their Facebook group they have a challenge going on right now where all you need to do is create a Halloween card with their stamps. Easy peasy!
I'm still so intrigued by all the scene cards I see out in crafty land, especially Amy's so I decided to dive right in and create a scene card with some of the new stamps.
I actually woke up with the idea in my head, which is always a good sign. I have to say this card did take me longer than a normal card takes me but it was so fun to create!!
I used the A Little Wicked, Horizon Lines: Spookville, and Horizon Lines: Spookville Expansion Pack stamp sets. I masked off the witch and house to add the horizon lines. The path is the first time I've tried to create something like that. Still a lot to learn but I at least tried.
I finished coloring the main scene and then stamped the cute little ghosts and cut them out and added them. I just love them!! I couldn't figure out how to add the sentiment and then it hit me to emboss it and cut it apart.
I'm really super duper proud of how this turned out and most of all, that I took a chance and tried!! I hope to keep making these scene cards and hopefully keep getting better at them!!
I'm also going to enter this card into the following challenges~
- Lil' Patch of Crafty Friends~ Anything Goes
- Unicorn Challenge Blog~ Autumn and/or Halloween
- Make the Cards Challenge~ Halloween Witch
- Aud Sentiments Challenge~ Fall/Halloween Sentiment
- C.R.A.F.T. Challenge~ Halloween/Autumn/Thanksgiving
Have the best day ever!

A wonderful Halloween card. I love the scene you have made and that the sentiment isn't a scary sentiment as it fits in with your card design perfectly.

This turned out great! I think scenes are a little more challenging on a slimline card, but you mailed it! I agree, those little hosts are a perfect extra detail. Thank you for joining in at Make the Cards Challenge!
Youre card is so beautiful, thanks for sharing it with us at The Unicorn Challenge Blog.
