I just got this cute Bugaboo digi, Christmas Brat Girl Dress and thought she’d be fun to color up today. Although I must admit, I’m just not feeling the holiday spirit quite yet. Seems like that happens most years…I don’t find my holiday spirit until the holidays are done..LOL! I am trying to keep my holiday cards as flat as possible for easy mailing so not a lot of embellishments on this one!

Every time I see this gorgeous image, The Victorian, from the latest Carmen Medlin for SCACD release, I think of Mary Poppins..hehe…

Now that you’re smiling and singing along, here’s my creation for today~ along with The Victorian, I also used my new Basic Grey Picadilly paper--such happy papers!! Her dress screamed to be paper pieced too..my favorite technique!!

A thank you with mice

For Thanksgiving our neighbors invited us over to join them and their family. We had such a good time and enjoyed the yummy food so much so I thought I’d make them a thank you card.

I was so excited when I saw that Susana got in the Uptown Girls by Stamping Bella! Love them! So much fun!

Today I’m using Clarissa and Camille. I just love their big cup of coffee! What a fun stamp to make some fun girlfriend cards!

Her Caged Heart

I couldn’t wait to ink up another one of the gorgeous stamps from the latest Carmen Medlin for SCACD release! This one is from Reflections Fantasy and is called Her Caged Heart.

I chose this stamp as I had my parakeet, Jade on my mind. You might remember me posting about her when we got her earlier in the year, well she’s still been very timid when it comes to getting on our fingers and such so she’s never been out of her cage.

Last week Sam decided it would be a good idea to get her out. Oh my! The poor thing flew around and slammed into walls, got glitter on her and then got in the closet and took us a while to get her out. She sure did squawk at us once we got her back in her cage. She really got her exercise and adventure that day! (and for the record, she’s fine, she didn’t get injured or anything)
