This week's theme is winter. Brrr....when I think of winter I think of blue, not sure why but I do. So that's why I colored sweet Nora in blue. It seems like a very simple card but I just adore how it came out. In real life it's so pretty the way the smooch spritz shimmers.
- card size: 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
- stamps: Nora,
- paper: SU cardstock,
- ink: Memento Tuxedo Black,
- others: copics, vanilla smooch spritz, cuttlebug embossing folder, Petaloo Dazzlers, CM cutting system, frosted lace stickles, stardust stickles,
I started by stamping Nora onto my cardstock with Memento ink and then colored her with copics. I used my snow dots cuttlebug embossing folder on my background paper and then spritzed it with Vanilla Smooch Spritz!! Oh my!! I am in love...hard to see from this photo how gorgeous this stuff is! I'll be doing a feature on it next week on Sparkly Thursdays!!
To finish the card I cut out my image and a mat with my CM cutting system and adhered everything and added a few embellishments and some stickles.
One more little tidbit to pass on...did you know that Susana has a *Specials* section?? No, well take a peek, lots of great things there at great prices!! Selected Spellbinders dies even!!
One more thing...I am doing okay with dealing with the loss of Heidi. It's hard and I'm hoping that red, swollen puffy eyes are the new "in" thing but I'm finding that Freckles helps alot with her puppy like self. Creating helps me take my mind off of missing Heidi too. Thank you all for your support and kind words.
Here's one of my favorite photos of Heidi this summer.
