WOYWW #73

Time for another What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday!

Last year I shared how I catalog my rubber/acrylic stamps in THIS post. Having that catalog has sure helped me 100% in knowing what I have and "seeing" the stamps helps me use some I might not usually use.

A friend asked how I store my digi stamps so I know what I have. Well, if you remember right, I was a huge NON-Digi fan for the longest time.....now I must confess that I am a huge digi fan and have quite the collection of them.

So I started by printing out the digis just on regular paper by company at first and putting it in a 3-ring binder.

Well, as the addiction grew, that was really hard to do so now, everytime I get a new digi, I add it to a Word document in a very small size, print it out when the page is as full as I'd like and then write what company and what the image is called.

This has helped me greatly too and saved time from going from folder to folder on my computer looking at images.

So that's what is on my workdesk this Wednesday...my catalog of digi stamps!

Have a happy day!

Very good tip! It would help me just so I know what the images are called when I am trying to blog the cards made with them LOL!

Thanks for the great tips!
I only just ordered my first digi-stamps yesterday, so I don't have that problem yet. But if it is anything like rubber stamps, I am sure it will get out of control, lol!

That's a really good idea, I have a record of some of my unmounted stamps but not my digis!
Just one more job to do!

I don't catalogue my real stamps, but totally see the advantage with the digis - file searching is such a waste of creative time!

I am, like you were about digi stamps. But dithering at the moment. Maybe I will try one and see what it is all about. Thanks for sharing the storage. #46

Excellent idea. I always fear of blogging cards made with digis 'cos I can never remember where I got them from so can't 'plug' them.
