Onto my card~
supplies:
- card size: 4 1/4 x 5 1/2
- stamps: Birgitta, Studio G sentiment,
- paper: SU cardstock, Basic Grey Marrakech,
- ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, SU Creamy Caramel,
- others: copics, December Sky shimmerz, large labels nestabilities, SU ticket corner punch, Fiskars threading water punch, copic glitter pens, cappuccino bella baubles, glue dots,
I stamped Birgitta in Memento ink onto my cardstock twice. I colored the entire image with my copics on one of the images and then only the flower on the other. After I was done coloring I cut out the flower and popped it up on pop dots for some dimension.
I painted her wings with December Sky shimmerz. After the shimmerz dried, (which it dries fast), I cut out Birgitta with my large labels nesties. With the nestie still in place I sponged SU creamy caramel ink around the image. (Yes, I'm hooked on this technique). As for sponges, for this technique I've found that cutting a makeup sponge into little pieces works well since it's a smaller area.
I used SU cardstock to match the ink for the card base. Then cut and sponged ink onto the designer paper. I also used my SU ticket corner punch for the corners of my designer paper. I added the middle band and used my Fiskars threading water punch on the designer paper and again sponged ink on all the edges.
I added some embellishments, touches of copic glitter pens here and there, and then finished the inside by adding a strip of designer paper and a sentiment. I also put the main image on foam tape so it would have some dimension.
